Meet the Therapist

Tori Korson, DPT, CCRP

My approach to canine rehabilitation blends evidence-based techniques from human physical therapy with compassionate, individualized care tailored to each dog and their family. I believe that aging and injury do not have to mean a loss of joy, independence, or quality of life. Through education, hands-on therapy, and customized exercise programs, my goal is to help dogs stay active, comfortable, and confident at every stage of life.

  • Tori Korson, owner of East Coast Canine Rehab, has always been an animal lover. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2017. She worked as a human physical therapist for 4 years before making the switch to canine rehabilitation. She became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2022 through the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Tori worked as a CCRP at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX, before moving to Connecticut. She was inspired to create her own mobile canine rehabilitation business after going through her own struggles of owning a dog with travel anxiety. Her goal is to make canine rehabilitation more accessible to everyone throughout Eastern Connecticut.
